A History of Oakland Mill"
Located in the southeast corner of Carroll County, the Oakland Mill was the second largest employer in this area until it met its demise in 1951. Today, the only objects that hint at a mill town are a few roads disappearing into Liberty Lake and foundation stones seen during times of drought. Author Diana Scott examines the birth, life, and death of the town.
